A simple tool that emphasises your favorites and helps you understand your collection and your habits a bit more. It’s also fun! Additionally, you can also track days with third-party bands, or even mark a rest day when your watch stays on the charger. A timeline view shows when you've logged a band over the years. * Always Up to Date. :: Bandbreite's database is updated over-the-air with every new band release. We work closely with the community to keep it accurate and helpful. "This app really wouldn’t be the same in anyone else’s hands." Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bandbreite at 84% against 9's 40%. Bandbreite also leads on rating (4.9 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (689 vs 26). 9's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Bandbreite sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and 9 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Bandbreite holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bandbreite has 689 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 84% of Bandbreite's written reviews are positive against 40% of 9's.
Bandbreite ships an update every 5 weeks, 9 weekly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
