AudioBuffer runs a continuous rolling audio buffer in the background - so when something cool happens, you can still save it. Just enable buffering, go about your day, and reopen the app whenever to save the recent past. • Retroactive recording - Save audio that already happened. No need to recreate the moment. • Configurable buffer - Choose how far back to reach: 15 seconds to 5 minutes. • Clip editor - Trim your saved clips with a visual waveform, drag handles to set in/out points. • Clip management - Browse, rename, and delete clips from your collection. • Sharing - Export clips individually or in a batch via Airdrop, Message, Files, & more. • Normalization - Use the magic wand button to normalize a clip to a custom dB level • Custom naming - Set filename prefix and naming method. • Live waveform - Visual feedback for incoming audio. • Dark, Light, or System appearance - Looks right in any environment. • No cloud, no accounts - All recordings stay private on your device. Only you can listen & share.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: AudioBuffer at every 3 weeks against Bluetooth Sleuth's every 2 months. Bluetooth Sleuth's advantage is price ($0.99 vs $2.99) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
