Would you like to have a Torah class while driving? With the R24 app you can: - listen to the Torah portion, - have a Tania lesson, - recite the daily Tehillim chapters, - listen to the Rebbe's talks, - learn Gemara, Rambam and other books! A Jewish library for your daily Torah study is now streaming for you on R24 - in any place where you can say the words of the Torah. The Rebbe says: “Man's life is dependent on the air around him... The first general step in healing is to purify the atmosphere. Purification of the air is the task of every person familiar with Torah and Torah-literature, and is effected through the letters of Torah. When reciting words of Torah while in the store or walking in the street or riding the subway, one cleans the air…” (Quoting the Rebbe Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn in “Hayom Yom”, Tevet 11). The Power of Tehillim The Book of Psalms - Tehillim - is among the most popular and widely read books of the Torah. Looking for a way to recite it in Hebrew? The R24 app features both the audio versions of the psalms and an integrated word-for-word translation. Give it a try: - Tap on the Daily Tehillim Podcast - See the word-for-word translation - Listen to the narrator and repeat the verses! It's a great way to comprehend the psalms and to learn Hebrew as well! Happy listening and learning - and tizku le-mitzvot! Questions? Ideas? We'll be happy to hear from you: ask@rabbi24.com

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: R24 at 5.0 against הידברות VOD's 4.0. R24 also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1). הידברות VOD's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
R24 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: R24 has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
