Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Booster Prep at Free against Indirect App's $0.99. Booster Prep also leads on ratings volume (721 vs 4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). Indirect App's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 61%) and in-app purchases (none vs 11). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Booster Prep is free to download; Indirect App costs $0.99 up front. Booster Prep sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Indirect App asks for nothing beyond the download.
Booster Prep holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Booster Prep has 721 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Indirect App's written reviews are positive against 61% of Booster Prep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Indirect App ships an update every 3 months, Booster Prep fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
