Protecting your personal and confidential information since 2009, Krypton is the first, simplest and most reliable App on the iOS Store to strongly encrypt entire documents and folders. Now also available on the macOS App Store. Your stuff is secure from prying eyes no matter where you are in the world. Metaphorically, Krypton keeps your encrypted items in a special vault, with each item contained in their own deposit box; to gain access to an encrypted item the vault must be open and the passcode key must be used to unlock the deposit box before you can discern the plaintext contents inside. In iOS the vault may be open or closed, while on macOS the vault opens upon Log In. Because the unit of encryption is an entire document or folder, Krypton is not a password manager in the traditional sense, although you can maintain a document of all your passwords that you encrypt between uses. Krypton can encrypt any type of document, including but not limited to: • Pictures and movies from your photo album. • Email messages from your mailbox. • Songs, PDFs, movies, Zip files, word processing documents, text files, images, program source code or any other object that you can download over the network or from your personal web server. • Anything on the iOS pasteboard. • Any document other Apps are willing to Share, such as Pages, Numbers and Keynote. • iCloud Drive and Dropbox files for easy cloud synchronization. Krypton uses strong encryption on each item. This has several ramifications: • If your passcode is strong enough to withstand a brute force attack, no one is going to see your stuff. • If you forget your passcode, no one can recover your stuff for you! But only that one document is lost, not your entire collection of items. • Your stuff is secure even if your iDevice or Mac is stolen, or iCloud Drive or Dropbox account is compromised. Find your home WiFi dead zones in under 10 minutes, using nothing but your iPhone. Walk from room to room, tap to measure, and watch a color map of your actual WiFi performance build itself — speed and latency, where you really live. No subscription. No ads. No account. One purchase, yours forever. WHAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY FIND OUT - Which rooms are slow, and how slow, in numbers you can act on - Whether the problem is your WiFi or your internet connection - Where to put a mesh node, an extender or the router itself - Which of the devices on your network is eating your bandwidth - What every IoT device on your network is broadcasting about itself HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick one of the ready-made floor plans, or use a photo of your own plan 2. Walk to a spot, tap once — the app measures throughput and latency there 3. Repeat for each room. The heat map builds as you go 4. Save the finished map to your photos, to compare after you move the router Step-by-step mode does the setup for you: no target to choose, no protocol to configure, no documentation to read. The advanced interface is still there when you want full control. NO EXTRA HARDWARE. NO SUBSCRIPTION. Professional WiFi surveys need an Ekahau Sidekick or a WLAN Pi. This app needs your iPhone. And unlike almost every other WiFi analyzer on the App Store, there is no weekly plan, no annual plan, and no ads — you buy it once. ALSO A COMPLETE NETWORK TOOLKIT - Scan every device on your LAN, with vendor, IP address and open ports - Discover every mDNS/Bonjour service: HomePod, Apple TV, printers, IoT - Ping and latency to local devices and to any internet host - Throughput measurement against another device running this app, any TCP CHARGEN/DISCARD server, or the internet - Run a TCP CHARGEN or DISCARD service on your own device - 3D animated view of your local network topology FULL SNMP CLIENT INCLUDED Query any SNMP agent on your routers, switches, access points and printers. SNMP v1, v2c and v3, with noAuthNoPriv, authNoPriv and authPriv, MD5 and SHA1 authentication, DES and AES privacy. 64 standard MIBs are bundled, so object identifiers are resolved to readable names offline — no server, no subscription, nothing to configure beyond the agent address and credentials. FOR HOMES AND FOR PROFESSIONALS Built by a network engineer. Simple enough to diagnose your apartment on a Sunday afternoon, precise enough that telecom professionals use it on the job. BEFORE YOU BUY — WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO Apple does not let any third-party iOS app read WiFi signal strength or scan neighboring networks, and no App Store app can do it — this is why professional tools need external hardware. This app maps what it can measure at the spot where you are standing: real throughput and latency. That is what a home heat map needs. It measures the network you are connected to, one heat map at a time.
