Bourbon flavors are complicated, and if you’ve never tried a spirit before, you have no idea what’s corked inside the bottle. With OAKR, users get a free digital sommelier to unpack the flavors of each whiskey, and your own tailored system to understand your taste preferences and find new bourbons that you’d enjoy. OAKR conducts blind tastings to collect flavor data about every bourbon on the platform. Spirit profile pages contain unique profile maps to show how the taste profile skews bottle to bottle. Get a quick snapshot of what a whiskey tastes like, but it doesn’t stop there. You can see detailed flavors present in each spirit, all of which powers data led recommendations about related spirits based on similar flavors, and recommendations on what you might also like. Users can create lists of their favorites, find friends, connect with distilleries and explore the growing world of bourbon like never before.
