Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Compressor Pro at 4.7 against Video Compress's 1.0. Compressor Pro also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (111 vs 1). Video Compress's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 72%) and price ($0.99 vs $3.99). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Compressor Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Compressor Pro has 111 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Compressor Pro's written reviews are positive against 100% of Video Compress's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
