Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mallak at 100% against Korek Iconnect's 50%. Korek Iconnect's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Korek Iconnect holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 31 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Korek Iconnect's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mallak's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Korek Iconnect ships an update every 8 days, Mallak every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
