About

FieldNOC

Features

FieldNOC puts a network technician's everyday toolkit in your pocket — subnet math, live diagnostics, console access, and switch-port workflows — built for real job sites, not a desk. Core calculators and references run on-device and offline. No account or sign-up is required. The diagnostic data they create stays on your device unless you choose to copy, export, or share it. CALCULATORS & REFERENCE (offline) • Subnet Calculator — network, broadcast, usable range, mask, wildcard, binary/hex, address class and scope. Accepts 192.168.1.50/24 shorthand. • IPv6 Toolkit — compress and expand addresses, prefix and subnet math, scope decoding, reverse-DNS names, and EUI-64 link-local from a MAC. • Route Summarization — aggregate a list of subnets into the fewest CIDR prefixes, with an optional single covering prefix for ACLs. • IP Converter — decimal to binary, hex, and integer, and back. • VLSM Splitter — carve a block into right-sized subnets. • MAC Address Tools — reformat to any style, vendor (OUI) lookup, unicast/multicast decode. • Port & Cabling Reference — well-known TCP/UDP ports, T568A/B pinouts, straight vs crossover. • Bandwidth & Transfer — a live speed test plus file-transfer time math. • Quick Reference — CIDR table, private ranges, DNS record types. LIVE DIAGNOSTICS • Wi-Fi Info — SSID, BSSID, IP, gateway, subnet, and connected-AP signal. • TLS / Certificate — check any host's certificate expiry, issuer, trust, and the names it covers. Reads expired and self-signed certificates too. • Wake-on-LAN — send a magic packet to power on a machine by MAC address. • Ping / Reachability — continuous latency, jitter, and packet loss. • Port Scanner & Subnet Sweep — find open ports and live hosts. • DNS Lookup — forward and reverse name resolution. • Net Check — captive-portal detection and DHCP lease. • mDNS / Bonjour — discover printers, casts, and SSH hosts. CONSOLE ACCESS • SSH and Telnet clients for the switches, routers, and servers you manage. Tap any result to copy it — straight into a ticket, config, or chat. OPTIONAL POD Some jobs need Layer-2 visibility a phone cannot reach on its own. Pair FieldNOC with a compatible GL.iNet travel router that you provide for switch-port discovery (LLDP/CDP), all-band Wi-Fi survey, traceroute, DHCP inspection, packet capture, and more. The built-in Pod Guide explains the setup. FieldNOC remains fully usable without a pod. WHY FIELDNOC • Offline-first — calculators and references need no signal. • Private — no accounts, no tracking, no ads. FIELDNOC PRO FieldNOC Pro is an optional auto-renewable annual subscription that unlocks pod-assisted workflows. All phone-native tools, calculators, references, SSH/Telnet consoles, and the Pod Guide remain free. Physical pod hardware is sold separately. The purchase screen shows the current price, subscription terms, and Restore Purchases. Built by people who carry a phone to the job, not a laptop.
