Datum Audio is a cloud-based voice recorder built for long sessions — lectures, conferences, interviews, and meetings. It records for hours in the background, uploads automatically to your cloud, and lets you listen back in any web browser from any device. FEATURES • High-quality M4A recording, automatically split into 10-minute chunks so even multi-hour sessions upload reliably on flaky networks. • True background recording — lock the screen or switch apps, recording keeps going. • Automatic, encrypted upload over HTTPS with resume support for interrupted transfers. • Web access: sign in from any browser and stream every recording you've ever made — laptop, tablet, another phone, it doesn't matter. • Simple sign-in with a 6-character access code. No passwords, no email sign-up. • Offline-first: when there's no network, recordings stay safe on the device and upload as soon as you're back online. BUILT FOR • Students capturing lectures and reviewing before exams. • Professionals recording meetings, calls, and negotiations. • Journalists and researchers running long interviews that must not be lost. • Podcasters and creators capturing raw audio on the move. HOW IT WORKS 1. Get a 6-character access code from your organization. 2. Enter the code and tap Record — the app starts capturing audio and streams chunks to the cloud. 3. Open the web interface to listen to all your recordings online. PRIVACY & SECURITY • All transfers use HTTPS. • Access is protected by your personal code and a session token. • Recordings are visible only to you and your organization's administrators — never to third parties. • The microphone is active only during recording. Datum Audio isn't a "quick voice memo" tool. It's built for long-form audio that has to be reliable: nothing gets lost, everything ends up in the cloud, and everything plays back in your browser.
