Stop typing notes. Record the meeting, drop in the file, paste the link, and get a structured note back: title, summary, action items, decisions, topics and the full transcript. Most note apps take one kind of input. AI Note Taker takes five. Record live audio, import a voice memo or MP3, snap a photo of a whiteboard or handwritten page, upload a PDF, Word, Markdown or text document, or paste a YouTube link. Every source ends up in the same clean format, so a lecture, a client call and a two-hour video all read the same way and live in the same folders. WHAT YOU GET • Walk out of every meeting with the decisions and who owns what, already written down • Turn a one-hour recording into a summary you can read in two minutes • Get the full transcript alongside the summary, so nothing is lost when you need the exact wording • Learn from a long YouTube video without watching it, with the key points pulled out for you • Capture a whiteboard or a page of handwriting with the camera and keep it as searchable text • Read a 60-page PDF or Word file as a short brief before the deadline PERFECT FOR • Managers who leave meetings with a task list instead of a to-do to write one • Students who record lectures and want study notes in their own language • Researchers and analysts who process interviews, reports and long videos every week • Anyone who thinks faster out loud than on a keyboard WHY NOT JUST A VOICE MEMO? A voice memo is a file you never listen to again. A plain transcript is a wall of text you never read. AI Note Taker gives you the summary, the action items with owners and due dates, the decisions and the topics, and keeps the transcript one tap away. Notes are sorted into folders you create, and the output language is yours to choose from more than 100 options, whatever language the recording was in. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your notes are stored on your iPhone, not in an account. Nothing leaves the device until you read the AI Processing Notice and agree to it, and you can withdraw that consent at any time in Settings. Text recognition for scanned images runs on-device. FULL ACCESS AI Note Taker is a paid app with a single plan that unlocks everything: recording, audio import, image scanning, document upload, YouTube notes, folders and every output language. Choose weekly, yearly or lifetime. Weekly and yearly are auto-renewing subscriptions billed to your Apple ID; they renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings. Lifetime is a one-time purchase. Record your next meeting with AI Note Taker and read the summary before you reach your desk. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AI Voice Notes at 100% against Fast Lists Sync's 50%. AI Voice Notes also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). Fast Lists Sync's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (12 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Fast Lists Sync holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Fast Lists Sync's written reviews are positive against 100% of AI Voice Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Fast Lists Sync ships an update every 2 weeks, AI Voice Notes every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
