Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: MochiLog at none against Quick Password Generator's shown. MochiLog also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Quick Password Generator's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Password Generator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MochiLog sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
MochiLog holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quick Password Generator has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Quick Password Generator's written reviews are positive against 90% of MochiLog's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Quick Password Generator ships an update every 3 months, MochiLog every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
