Both are free to download. Destruction simulator sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Beat SandMan asks for nothing beyond the download.
Beat SandMan holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beat SandMan has 1.2K ratings behind it against 102, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Destruction simulator's written reviews are positive against 31% of Beat SandMan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Destruction simulator ships an update every 2 weeks, Beat SandMan every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
