Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tornadio at none against Destruction simulator's 8. Tornadio also leads on rating (3.9 vs 3.7) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). Destruction simulator's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 50%) and ratings volume (102 vs 14). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Destruction simulator sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Tornadio asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Tornadio holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Destruction simulator has 102 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Destruction simulator's written reviews are positive against 50% of Tornadio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
