No accounts, no cloud services, no syncing, no third-party integration. Just a simple place to file away your project's to-dos and close them when they're complete. iWaka holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scarlet has 293 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Scarlet's written reviews are positive against 0% of iWaka's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Scarlet ships an update every 5 months, iWaka every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
