Reduce Dead Mileage If you’re looking for ways to increase your income as a courier, want better paying jobs and to spend less time driving without a job on board then the Courier Alliance App is for you. The biggest challenge self-employed couriers have is how to find quality jobs, eliminate dead mileage and increase your earnings. By registering with Courier Alliance, you will; Reduce Your Dead Mileage Find more jobs, eliminate dead mileage and increase your earnings. • Start Bidding on 1,000s of jobs each day • Only bid on the job that suits you • Bid what you want to be paid Bid With Confidence Bid on jobs confident in the knowledge that you know when you are going to get paid. • See what payment terms are being offered before you Bid • Manage your cash flow more effectively • Reduce the time you spend chasing or giving up chasing for payment Access More Ways to Earn Complete short instructional test and an enhanced vetting application to increase your earning potential. • You can gain access to more jobs by reading and completing customer work instructions • To gain maximum access to secure jobs complete an enhanced vetting programme The app is using background services to obtain the location because the latest position (lat/long) of the user (a courier/driver) needs to be known at all times. When an order is created, it is sent out to users based upon their proximity and drive time to the collection point. Only users within the proximity and drive time (arriving before the required collect by time) are sent the order to bid upon it. For this core functionality to work, the system must know the users current position (lat/long) real time. The users are couriers/drivers who are travelling and so their location (lat/long) is constantly changing.
