XP Racing is a love letter to the classic racing games from the NES era! We wanted to use pixel-art in a way that is faithful to the 90's console limitations, only breaking those rules sparsely to enhance the player's experience and customization. Play Modes: ■ Tournament: Win 4 gold trophies in a row! ■ Time Trial: Beat all the time records! Features: ■ 4 tracks ■ Simple controls ■ 4 free cars and paint jobs ■ 6 premium cars and paint jobs

Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: EigenGauge at 32 against XP Racing's 3. EigenGauge also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EigenGauge sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and XP Racing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.8 for EigenGauge against 3.7 for XP Racing. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EigenGauge has 32 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 55% of EigenGauge's written reviews are positive against 50% of XP Racing's.
