Relativity Widget vs Worlds Apart

Relativity Widget allows you to visualise Einstein's theories of relativity right on your home screen. Two modes : • Special Relativity: imagine that you are in a spaceship travelling at a chosen speed. If you travel fast enough, time will pass differently on earth... • General Relativity: you are on earth while a friend of yours went on a journey, in a spaceship, at a chosen distance to a Schwarzschild black hole. If you are close enough, time will pass differently in the spaceship... Relativity Widget clocks represent the difference in time flow, since midnight, between a high speed / high gravity experiencing reference frame and a low speed / gravity one, according to Einstein's theory of relativity.

World clocks tell you what time it is somewhere. Worlds Apart helps you understand what that time means for someone you care about. Are they starting their day or winding down? Is now a considerate time to call? When might work better for both of you? And when you travel, how does everyone’s time change along the way? Worlds Apart makes time zones feel human—not like a list of clocks, but like a time machine centered on people. PEOPLE, NOT JUST PLACES Save family, friends, teammates, or cities. See their local time, date, weather, part of day, and time difference from you at a glance. Contact signals such as Good Time, Maybe, and Quiet Hours provide simple guidance based on local time and contact hours you control. They never claim to know someone’s actual availability. PLAN WITH TIME MACHINE Scrub forward or backward through time to see what the same moment looks like for everyone. Find a better time to call without calculating time-zone differences yourself. SET UP INTERACTIVE WIDGETS Keep the people and places you care about on your Home Screen. Check their local context and scrub through time directly from interactive widgets—without opening the app. TRAVEL WITH FLY MODE Enter your departure, destination, dates, times, and optional layover. Fly Mode turns the itinerary into a visual journey through time while keeping the local time for people back home visible. Fly Mode works offline and follows the itinerary you entered. It does not claim to provide live flight location, delay, or arrival information. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • No account required • No contacts import • No calendar access • No advertising tracking • No third-party analytics • Saved people, places, preferences, and journeys remain on your device Whether the people you love are across the country, across the world, or waiting for you at your next stop, Worlds Apart helps you find a better moment to connect.
