The meticulously generated results are transformed into detailed 3D models and made available free of charge in this app. Visit the famous Heidelberg Palace Gardens as they were once conceived but never built! Explore the ruins of Hohentwiel Fortress and discover why this mighty fortress was once slated for demolition! Visit the Watteau Cabinet at Bruchsal Palace and marvel at the magnificent panel paintings that have long since been lost! Book a nature conservation trail for your school class around the Dilsberg Castle ruins! Walk like Alice in Wonderland across the laid table at Weikersheim Palace and collect the ingredients for historical recipes! Immerse yourself in the worlds of historical paintings and murals, or listen to the daily life in an 18th-century palace kitchen through our elaborately produced audio descriptions. With this app, we are constantly seeking to combine the fun of learning with high-quality 3D models. Beyond that, you will of course also find everything you need to know about the castles and gardens, such as information on opening times, how to get there and accessibility. The app is part of the pilot project of the flagship initiative ‘Virtual Reconstruction of Cultural Properties’, funded by the State of Baden-Württemberg.

Mit dieser App kannst du interessante Dinge über die Anpassung an den Klimawandel lernen und Beobachtungen mit deiner Schulklasse teilen. Sobald du von deiner Lehrkraft per Code eingeladen wurdest, kann es losgehen. In Städten wird häufiger vor Hitze gewarnt, der Borkenkäfer breitet sich aus und schadet der Fichte, es kommt verstärkt zu verschiedensten Starkwetterereignissen wie Hoch- und Niedrigwasser, Starkregen oder Dürre. Die Folgen des Klimawandels sind bereits heute spürbar – und das vor der eigenen Haustür. Um die Schäden durch den Klimawandel gering zu halten, müssen wir uns an diese Folgen anpassen. Die Beschattung von öffentlichen Plätzen und Grünflächen helfen Menschen zum Beispiel in der sommerlichen Hitze. Eine naturnahe Ufergestaltung bietet Schutz vor Hochwasser. In Lern-Modulen zu verschiedenen Themen lernst du zunächst Möglichkeiten zur Klimaanpassung kennen. Danach kannst du deine Umgebung genau beobachten. Findest du Anpassungsmaßnahmen, wie Grünflächen?
