RXplore vs FGateManager

The Relay Explorer - RXplore is a mobile application to securely connect, visualize and perform limited operations to ABB Protection and Control relays and ABB Monitoring and Diagnostic devices over a site Wi-Fi network. RXplore is never connected with site Wi-Fi and outside network at the same time, thus ensuring that the site network is never exposed to outside network. Using RXplore it is possible to create a site, scan a network and identify supported ABB devices in the network. Once the device is identified and connected, it is possible to perform operations like parameterization (modify editable settings of relay), read events and fault information. Events and fault information read from relay can be shared for further analysis. RXplore supports a demo mode to quickly get an overview of features and functionalities in the app without the need to connect with real devices. For demo mode, all that is needed is a phone with RXplore installed on it.

FGateManager is a mobile application developed for remote monitoring and management of industrial equipment. Based on the FLEXEMATIC industrial IoT platform, it works seamlessly with FGate hardware devices. With FGateManager, users can remotely view the operational status of devices distributed across different locations, receive alarm notifications, access historical data, and perform remote configuration — all from an iPhone.
