Percepta is an intelligent companion designed to empower individuals with partial or complete visual impairment by providing real-time navigation assistance and environmental awareness. Using only your iPhone, Percepta transforms what the camera sees into intuitive audio and haptic feedback to help you navigate with greater confidence. Designed for reliability and privacy, Percepta functions entirely offline, ensuring that your navigation data remains secure and accessible even without an internet connection. KEY FEATURES • Intuitive Spatial Feedback: Translates real-time depth and scene sensing into simple, frequency-based audio cues and haptic alerts, so you can anticipate obstacles like doors, stairs, and waist-height hazards before you reach them. • Offline-First Reliability: Core navigation and safety functions run fully on-device. No cloud dependency means Percepta works reliably in any environment. • Intelligent Awareness (AI Mode): Optional AI-powered processing identifies essential environmental features, such as staircases and doorways, helping you orient yourself in unfamiliar spaces. • Socioemotional Guide: Point the front camera at a conversation partner and Percepta reads the facial expression - happy, sad, surprised, angry - spoken aloud and felt as a gentle haptic tap. Processing is entirely on-device. • Personalized Feedback: Adjust feedback sensitivity and customize the experience for your specific mobility needs. • Privacy-Focused Design: All perception processing happens locally on your device. No sensitive visual data is ever uploaded or stored. WHO IS PERCEPTA FOR?
