Saucier is a cookbook for the food you actually cook. Save recipes from the web, write your own, and keep them all in one place — on your iPhone, on your iPad, and in the kitchen. SAVE FROM ANYWHERE Paste a link, or send a page over from Safari with the share sheet. Saucier reads the ingredients and the steps off the page and leaves the rest behind. No pop-ups, no life story, no eleven open tabs. WRITE YOUR OWN Type a recipe in, group the steps into sections, and drag anything into the order you keep it in. Add notes for next time. MAKE IT MODE Cook one step at a time. Times and temperatures in a step are tappable — tap "25 minutes" and the timer is set. Ingredients mentioned in a step are highlighted, and tick off as you go. TIMERS THAT FOLLOW YOU Timers keep running when you leave the app, and show up on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. An On Now screen lists everything you have going. ASK SAUCIER Ask about a recipe with your hands full — a substitution, a conversion, what a step means, or what you could make with what you have in. It answers out loud and listens again, so you never have to touch the screen. Answers come back as cards you can use rather than a wall of text: tick an ingredient off, scale the recipe for more people, or read one step on its own. All of it runs on your device. Nothing you ask leaves your phone. PLAN THE WEEK Put recipes on the days you mean to cook them, for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack. Cooking for a different number of people? Set the servings on the meal and the shopping scales with it, leaving the recipe itself alone. ONE GROCERY LIST Turn a week of meals into a single list, gathered across every recipe and grouped by the aisle you will find things in. The same ingredient asked for twice is one line. Tick things off as you go, share the list, or send it to the Reminders list you already keep. CALORIES AND MACROS (BETA) An estimate of what a recipe comes to, per serving, and what each ingredient contributes. Every figure shows its working: how many ingredients were counted, what each was matched against, and how rough the estimate is. Choose your source in Settings — on device, where nothing leaves your phone, or USDA FoodData Central for laboratory figures. AND THE REST • Search and filter your whole library • Widgets for what you have on the go • Built for iPad, and for both displays on iPhone Duo
