SlowMoFX is an AUv3 plugin that allows you to seemlessly mix incoming audio with a slowed down version in perfect sync with the current tempo. This allows you to obtain that sort after half speed effect that is used by many famous DJ's around the world. You can dropout the original audio completely to create dark downtempo atmospheric versions of a song and slowly and seemlessly return to the original mix. This is great for drums and percussive rythms. Lead instruments with sharp attacks when slowed down give those distinctive trap melodies and booming basses. Simply press the POWER button to turn on the effect. It will smoothly transition to a mix of the original and a slow halftime version. Selecting the 4x option will slow down to quad time making the mood even darker, while the 1.5x can be used to generate triplets and syncopated beats. The low and high pass filters can be used to determine how much of the input is effected, while the mix knob controls the depth of the effect. The Glide button enables a smooth glide from the none effected pitch to the destination pitch for those slow down and speed up type effects. A ping pong mode also allows you to alternate between forwards and reverse play while the reverse mode creates long soothing syncapated textures. SlowMoFX also sports a number of built in effects that can be enabled in order to create smooth transitions such as delay and reverb, while the EQ, drive, phaser, pan and pitch effects allow you to add flavour to the sound. If running under a DAW such as AUM that allows multiple output busses you can route the effected signal through your favourite external effects. Features: • Paramter and MIDI automation of main controls. • Filtering of input using LP / HP filters. • Built in EQ, Phaser, Pan, Delay, Reverb, Drive and Pitch effects. • Fade In/Out controls. • Ping Pong and Reverse modes. • Supports buffer sizes from 1-16 beats • 2x, 4x and 1.5x slow down supported. • External Effects loop in supported apps. • Includes comprehensive Help.

ANALOGyDR Drum Synth (AUv3) ANALOGyDR is a virtual instrument plugin that can run standalone, or in any AU compatible host such as Logic Pro or GarageBand. Please note that the standalone version does not include a built-in keyboard - you need to connect a suitable MIDI device to play the synth. *** IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ *** ANALOGyDR is a single voice (monophonic) virtual analog synthesiser designed specifically for creating drum and percussion type sounds. Please note that it is not a pitched instrument for playing melodic lines, and does not include a rhythm pattern sequencer. To create a virtual drum kit with ANALOGyDR you need to load multiple instances on separate tracks in a DAW such as Logic or GarageBand and record MIDI notes into each track. Design Overview ANALOGyDR is a tribute to the now legendary vintage analog drum machines that used simple synthesis engines to create their sounds by combining basic oscillators and noise sources. ANALOGyDR has two variable pitch sine wave oscillators, along with white and pink noise generators, three filter types and an analog flavoured drive section. Despite the basic design, ANALOGyDR can create quite a wide variety of sonic textures, and the factory presets include a selection of percussion sounds inspired by the Roland CompuRhythm CR-78 (*), along with some interesting effects such as emulations of a cracking whip, a cardboard box and a mouse trap! The single voice architecture of ANALOGyDR is also useful in situations where you might want to add one or two additional percussion sounds to supplement your favourite drum machine app and gives you the flexibility to apply different effects processing to each ANALOGyDR track. Alternatively, use ANALOGyDR as a sound design tool to create your own unique percussion sounds that you can record and then load into your favourite sampler app. The iPad previews were created using multiple ANALOGyDR tracks in GarageBand, plus some reverb and echo from the built-in GarageBand effects. ANALOGyDR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of SlowMoFX's written reviews are positive against 50% of ANALOGyDR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
