Rafter Finder by SolVe finds the rafters on thin roof coverings such as Slate, Composite or Cambrian Slate - just by using your phone. Find the nail connecting the batten to the rafter - confirm 2 or 3 nails above or below each other, thats the rafter line. For thicker coverings - use small magnets in place of nails, placed along the rafters to identify the rafter line from above the roof. Rafter Finder will be free to use for all initially (2/3 months) and will then move to a companion app for SolVe Mounts (free 30 day access with every purchase) or a monthly subscription.
