Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Appmarks at Free against Fontastic's $3.99. Appmarks also leads on review sentiment (86% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Fontastic's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (48 vs 4). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Appmarks is free to download; Fontastic costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Fontastic holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fontastic has 48 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Fontastic's written reviews are positive against 86% of Appmarks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
