Math Notes is a math-focused editor for iPhone and iPad. Create interactive Math Notebooks where calculations, explanations, and graphs work together. Write equations with a dedicated math keyboard, work with math in Microsoft Word documents (.docx), add mathematical notes to PDFs, and create and compile LaTeX documents. Use AI to understand and solve mathematical content. It is designed for students, educators, researchers, engineers, scientists, architects, data analysts, finance professionals, and anyone who uses math to learn, plan, design, or solve problems. MATH NOTEBOOKS — CALCULATE AND EXPLORE • Combine text, equations, live calculations, and graphs on the same page • Define variables and functions, then reuse them in calculations below • Change a value and see dependent results and graphs update automatically • Add parameter sliders to explore how changing a variable affects your calculations and curves • Plot functions, compare curves, and inspect value tables • Work with fractions, trigonometry, linear and quadratic equations, derivatives, and integrals • Calculate with units and convert results • Add data tables, explore statistics, and fit a line to your measurements • Use Check My Work to verify supported algebraic steps and identify mistakes • Turn calculations into practice exercises and check your answers • Save reusable formula templates and export notebooks as PDF WRITE MATH NATURALLY • Use four dedicated keyboard layouts: numeric, symbols, alphabetic, and Greek letters • Long-press keys to reveal additional symbols and character variants • See equations and formulas rendered as you type • Work with everything from simple arithmetic to algebra, geometry, and calculus • Enter more than 800 supported LaTeX commands when you need precise notation MATH IN MICROSOFT WORD DOCUMENTS • Work with mathematical equations in Microsoft Word documents (.docx) directly in the app • Bring written explanations and math together in your documents LATEX AND PDF TOOLS • Create and edit LaTeX documents • Compile LaTeX directly to PDF on your device, then preview and share the result • Read and edit PDFs in the same app • Add notes containing mathematical equations with the PDF editor • Organize PDF libraries in unlimited folders and subfolders AI MATH ASSISTANT AND MAGIC LASSO • Ask the AI Math Assistant to solve problems, explain concepts, and help with mathematical work • Draw the Magic Lasso around a formula, equation, or other content in your document • Choose Explain, Solve, Check, or ask your own question about the selection • Save lassoed content as a clip for later MULTI-TAB WORKSPACE • Keep multiple documents and PDFs open in tabs • Switch between notes, references, and calculations without closing your work • Use a clear interface designed for different ages and experience levels EXPORT AND SHARE • Save your work and share it through other apps • Export documents as PDF, LaTeX, HTML, MathJSON, MathML, ASCII-Math, or image files • Use standard formats to keep your work compatible with other platforms Use Math Notes to work through problems, explore how formulas behave, take class notes, prepare research papers, or keep everyday calculations organized.
