Obede reads the fault codes stored in your car's computer and explains what each one means, how serious it is, and what usually causes it. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Read and clear fault codes (DTCs) — turn off the check engine light • Plain-language explanations for every code, not cryptic jargon • Live sensor data — RPM, coolant temp, speed, engine load and more • Emissions readiness check before your inspection • Vehicle info and freeze frame data from the moment of the fault • Save scan history so you can track a problem over time BEFORE YOU BUY A USED CAR Run a scan in under a minute. Cleared codes, pending faults and unfinished readiness monitors are exactly the things a seller won't mention. WORKS WITH YOUR CAR Compatible with virtually every car sold since 1996 (2001 for petrol / 2004 for diesel in Europe). If it has an OBD-II port under the dash, Obede can read it.
