WHY TMAILOR • A new address anytime: tap Random to get a fresh one. • See new mail as it arrives: messages appear without manual refresh. Turn on notifications to get an alert when new mail arrives. • Automatic cleanup: every message is deleted 24 hours after it arrives. • Reuse the same address: it doesn't expire on its own, so you can come back to it later. • Save your addresses: they're kept on your phone. Sign in to keep them in your account and use them on other devices. • Reopen the same inbox on another device: scan its QR code or open its link. • Use a domain you own: sign in and follow the in-app guide to receive email at your own domain. Premium is not required. • Available in 19 languages, with light and dark mode. GOOD FOR • Websites and apps you don't want to give your real email to • Newsletters, downloads, e-books and coupons • Free trials and one-time sign-ups • Wi-Fi sign-in pages in cafes, hotels and airports • Reducing unwanted mail and the risk of exposing your real email PREMIUM (OPTIONAL) The free version shows ads, including full-screen ads. Premium removes all ads, includes priority email processing and unlocks all premium domains. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, available monthly or yearly. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. • The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. • Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple Account settings. • If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription. GOOD TO KNOW • Tmailor only receives email. You can't send, reply to or forward email. • Save anything you need within 24 hours, before the message is deleted. • If you're not signed in, your addresses are lost when you delete the app. • Don't use a temporary address for banking, important accounts or anything you may need to recover later. Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Temp Mail at 76% against DataUp's 33%. Temp Mail also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 18 months). DataUp's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
