Whiteboard gives your ideas an endless canvas on iPad and iPhone. Sketch with Apple Pencil or your finger, add sticky notes, connect your thoughts into clear diagrams, then present your board or share it as a PDF. Use it to brainstorm, plan a project, teach a lesson or map out a process. A CANVAS WITHOUT EDGES Draw, write and move in any direction on a board that grows with your ideas. Choose a dotted, squared or lined background on white, cream, gray, blue or green paper. The minimap shows where you are on a large board, and Find and Replace searches every sticky note, table and text box. DRAW AND WRITE NATURALLY Use Apple Pencil with pressure and tilt, or a compatible stylus or your finger. Choose from pens, markers, pencils, crayons, watercolor and more, and duplicate your favorite tools with their own colors and widths. Switch tools with a double-tap or squeeze of Apple Pencil, turn handwriting into typed text with Scribble, and add text boxes and shapes. STICKY NOTES, TABLES AND MORE Add sticky notes in any color, tables, photos, files, links and live websites. Scan documents or printed text with your camera, insert symbols, stamps and clipart, or create images with Image Playground. CONNECT YOUR IDEAS Select an item and tap one of its handles to add a connected item, then just start typing. Choose straight, elbow or arc connectors with arrows, labels and line jumps. Drop an item onto a connector to place it in between. Turn on Flow to send animated dots along your connectors and bring a process to life. Paste Mermaid code to turn text into a diagram. GRAPHS FOR MATH AND SCIENCE Add a coordinate graph in one tap, plot functions and inequalities, and work on it with Apple Pencil. Your ink moves and resizes with the graph. ARRANGE WITH EASE Drag to select many items at once, then align, distribute and group them. Lock items in place, copy and paste them between boards, and undo any change. RECORD THE CONVERSATION Record audio right on the board: a lecture, a meeting or your own explanation. Pause and continue, skip back 15 seconds and generate a transcript, so the recording stays next to the ideas it explains. PRESENT YOUR BOARD Save views of your board as scenes and present them full screen, one after another. Guide your audience with the laser pointer, and show your board on an external display while you control it from your iPad. WRITE ON PDFs Import PDFs and write on them with Apple Pencil. Highlight passages, add comments and sign documents, or place a PDF on a board next to your notes. AI ASSISTANT AND TEXT NOTES Use the AI Assistant to brainstorm ideas, break a goal into tasks or plan a presentation. It can also write, solve math, explain, rewrite, correct and translate text. When words come first, create a formatted Text Note. ORGANIZE, SYNC AND PROTECT Keep boards in unlimited folders and subfolders, and open several at once in tabs. iCloud keeps your work in sync across iPhone and iPad, and your boards are also in the Files app. Lock the app or individual folders with a passcode or Face ID, and rely on automatic backups. Export a board as a PDF, as an image of the current view or as an editable board file. Designed for iOS 26 and the new iOS 27, with dark mode, keyboard shortcuts and support for iPhone Duo. From a quick sketch to a finished presentation, Whiteboard keeps all your ideas in one place.
