Verdict
Bazzaar and Vary Pharmacy both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Vary Pharmacy's written reviews are positive against 84% of Bazzaar's. Vary Pharmacy also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Bazzaar's advantage is ratings volume (44 vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Bazzaar against 4.3 for Vary Pharmacy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bazzaar has 44 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of Bazzaar's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vary Pharmacy's.
Bazzaar ships an update every 3 weeks, Vary Pharmacy fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
