REMEMBER THE VALUE OF TIME Death-Watch transforms your Apple Watch into a powerful philosophical tool that counts down to a significant date in your life. By maintaining awareness of time's passage, you gain perspective on life's finite nature and are empowered to make more intentional choices about how you spend your days. A MODERN MEMENTO MORI For centuries, philosophers, artists, and thinkers have practiced "memento mori" – Latin for "remember you must die" – as a way to contemplate mortality and live more meaningfully. Death-Watch brings this ancient wisdom to your wrist in a minimalist, elegant interface that serves as a constant reminder of life's most valuable resource: time. PRECISE COUNTDOWN TO YOUR CHOSEN DATE Death-Watch allows you to set a personally meaningful target date – whether it's a milestone birthday, a significant anniversary, or a date of personal significance. The app then displays a precise countdown in: • HOURS: For immediate awareness of time passing • DAYS: To plan your short-term priorities • WEEKS: For broader perspective on life's journey The continuous countdown serves as a gentle but powerful reminder that each moment matters, encouraging mindfulness and intentional living. ALWAYS VISIBLE ON YOUR WATCH Death-Watch integrates seamlessly with your Apple Watch experience: • WATCH COMPLICATIONS: Add the Death-Watch complication to your favorite watch face for constant awareness • WIDGET EXTENSION: The "Death-Watch" widget provides at-a-glance information without opening the app • CUSTOMIZABLE DISPLAY: Choose which time unit (hours, days, or weeks) is most meaningful to you PHILOSOPHICAL BENEFITS Users of Death-Watch report profound shifts in their relationship with time: • ENHANCED PERSPECTIVE: Maintain awareness of life's bigger picture • REDUCED PROCRASTINATION: When you see time counting down, you're less likely to waste it • MINDFUL DECISION-MAKING: Make choices aligned with your values and priorities • APPRECIATION FOR THE PRESENT: Find greater meaning in everyday moments • CLARITY OF PURPOSE: Focus on what truly matters to you MINIMALIST DESIGN Death-Watch features a clean, distraction-free interface that emphasizes the countdown itself.
