Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Zimrahs at every 2 days against Active Ear's monthly. Zimrahs also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Active Ear's advantage is ratings volume (49 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
