Progressing Together vs Pattern for Life

Progressing Together Level 1 is a discipleship program for new believers to enable them to walk with the Lord, feed themselves on the Word of God and integrate into fellowship with other believers. It offers 11 course topics each with 5 key discipleship studies for a total of 55 lessons. Students prepare each lesson as they study Bible passages individually and then share their discoveries with others under the guidance of a group leader. As students progress they grow in spiritual discernment, in stability of walk, and in ability to disciple others.

In Pattern, with the help of the text and audio guides that include the Bible verses, your small group will experience authentic, simple, and reproducible patterns for life as disciples of Jesus. In fact, as you care for one another, discover God’s principles and practices, put into action what you discover, experience God’s presence, and share it with others—you will begin to help other people form groups and grow together in their living rooms. Using the life cycle of a plant as inspiration, these grouped journeys are categorized as Begin, Follow, Grow, and Gather. These help each group find the point where they want to begin as they grow together. Each journey organizes the meeting into three portions of interaction that any person in the group can facilitate.
