Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Ruby at none against OnmiGifts's shown. Ruby also leads on ratings volume (154 vs 1) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). OnmiGifts's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

OnmiGifts holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ruby has 154 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
Ruby ships an update every 3 weeks, OnmiGifts every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
