Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: NFC TagKit at 100% against Code Scanner ALL's 33%. NFC TagKit also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Code Scanner ALL's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (28 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Code Scanner ALL holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Code Scanner ALL has 28 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Code Scanner ALL's written reviews are positive against 100% of NFC TagKit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
