About

Tysha

Features

Tysha is a messenger that starts with a nickname you invented, not with your phone number. Get it while it is free - the free ride will not last forever. NO NUMBER, NO EMAIL, NO PASSWORD An account is a username plus 12 words generated on your device. We never see them and store them nowhere. There is another side to that: lose the words and nobody can restore the account, us included. INTRODUCTIONS BY A ONE-TIME CODE Contacts come only from invitations. The app never reads your address book, there is no people search, and nobody can find you by number - there is nothing to search by. A code stops working once used, or after 15 minutes. ENCRYPTED ON THE DEVICES Messages and calls are encrypted on the devices themselves: the libsignal library, PQXDH key agreement (X25519 + ML-KEM-1024), Double Ratchet. Keys are created on the device and never leave it. IPHONE AND IPAD Tysha runs on iPhone and iPad. A second device is linked to your account with a code from the main one; every device has its own keys, and they never leave it. The main device manages the account, and a linked one can be unlinked at any time. All your conversations stay encrypted. Security does not break. WHAT THE SERVER GETS A sealed envelope: bytes, size, time and a queue address - 32 random bytes with no link to your username. It never sees text, files, the sound of a call or an address book. No ads, no third-party analytics, no profiling. WHAT IS INSIDE - disappearing messages, from 30 seconds to four weeks - view once for photos and video - delete for both sides, not just your own copy - voice messages, files up to 64 MB, reactions, replies, edits - voice and video calls: relayed by default, so the other side never sees your IP address - group calls for up to five people, each pair encrypted separately - quick replies to an incoming call - a new glass look and alternative app icons - small groups with sender keys - a Face ID lock and a wipe after too many wrong codes - your own ringtone, 12- or 24-hour clock, Ukrainian and English WHAT IT COSTS Free for now. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions. So get it while the ride is free - it will not stay free forever. WHAT WE DO NOT PROMISE The lock protects the screens; it does not re-encrypt the store. A screenshot notice cannot stop someone photographing the screen. Disappearing messages cannot stop someone copying the text first. Each of these limits is stated inside the app itself.
