Sediment, algae, and bacterial biofilm build up quietly inside even well-covered tanks. Most experts recommend a deep clean every three to six months, especially before summer and just after the monsoon. Fresh Tank crews use food-grade cleaning agents and soft nylon brushes — never abrasive metal scrubbers, which scratch tank walls and trap bacteria long after the cleaning is done. Add a TDS and pH test to any booking to keep an eye on your water quality over time. Sudden changes are often the first sign of contamination or a pipe issue, and they are far cheaper to fix when caught early.
