RaceStarter is a dedicated race-start timer and gate callout app crafted for FPV drone racing pilots. Whether drilling launches alone at the field or staging side-by-side with teammates, it brings four start procedures, announcer callouts, and randomized GO tones right to your launch pad. No ads, no accounts required—built purely for focused race-start practice. PERSONAL PRACTICE: COUNTDOWN & RANDOM START • Countdown Start: Choose 3s, 5s, or custom (1–30s) durations for solo launches. • Random Start: Builds start-gate focus by playing the ARM callout and prep tone, followed by a randomized wait window before the GO tone. • Cancel the round anytime during countdowns or random wait windows. FOUR START PROCEDURES • Built-in start sequences and ARM preparation windows for four start procedures: Standard, MultiGP, DRA, and FAI. • Switch procedures in Settings, Random Start, or Synced Start rooms to match your training rhythm. RACE-DIRECTOR VOICES & CALLOUT ROTATION • Pre-recorded announcer audio across 10 languages, featuring distinct voice profiles including Male Announcer, Female Announcer, Commander, and Coach. • Multiple randomized arming callouts in English and Chinese keep gate prompts varied and realistic each round. • Set your announcer language independently from the app UI language. • Six built-in start tones, plus custom audio import from the Files app. SYNCED START: MULTI-DEVICE LOCAL START ROOMS • Stage and launch together across multiple phones over the local network (or peer-to-peer Wi-Fi)—no more counting down out loud. • Free to Join: Teammates discover a nearby room and enter the room code to join for free (hosting a room requires RaceStarter Pro). • Flexible Host Mode: Fly in the heat or act as race director. Once all pilots mark Ready, the host schedules and triggers a synchronized start. • Clear readiness indicators and the ability to cancel the round from connected devices. APPLE WATCH COMPANION & REMOTE START • Free Wrist Mirroring & Control: View live countdowns, feel GO wrist haptics, refresh status, and cancel active rounds on Apple Watch for free. • Remote Start Trigger (Pro): Leave your iPhone at the launch pad or speaker and tap START on your wrist to trigger a personal Countdown or Random Start on your phone. SINGLE-ROUND VOICE START & SIRI SHORTCUTS • Single-Round (One-Shot) Voice Start: When enabled, tap Ready on the start screen each round to begin listening, then speak your keyword to trigger a personal start. • System Integration: Request or cancel a personal Countdown or Random Start via Siri, Shortcuts, or the Action Button (configured via Shortcuts). START HISTORY & LOCAL EXPORT • Optional Local Log: Enable start history to record round timestamps, modes, and settings on your device. • Export records anytime to CSV or JSON files, or clear history whenever you choose. PRIVACY-FIRST & CLEAN DESIGN • Zero ads, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and no user accounts. • Microphone audio for Voice Start and mic testing is processed live on-device—never recorded or uploaded. • Synced Start communicates strictly over local network connections without internet servers or sending data to the developer. RACESTARTER PRO — ONE-TIME PURCHASE (NON-SUBSCRIPTION) Personal practice features on your phone (Countdown, Random Start, all 4 start procedures, 10-language callouts, custom audio import, history export, and Voice Start), Apple Watch mirroring/cancellation, and joining Synced Start rooms are 100% free. RaceStarter Pro is an optional one-time purchase (non-consumable, no subscriptions) that unlocks two capabilities: 1. Host Synced Start Rooms: Create and coordinate multi-device local start rooms (teammates join for free). 2. Apple Watch Remote Start: Trigger personal Countdown or Random starts on your phone from your Apple Watch.
