Read full descriptionHide full description
SyncIT Lite is a natural gas utility application for field technicians who service and calibrate portable gas detection instruments. The app connects to compatible SENSIT Technologies instruments via Bluetooth or USB, and to SmartCal calibration stations via Wi-Fi or USB. It downloads calibration, bump-test, and session records stored on connected equipment and presents them as reviewable and exportable digital records. SyncIT Lite does not require account registration, login, authentication, or account deletion. On first launch, users create a simple local profile by entering a name of at least two characters and an email address in a standard format. This information is stored locally, is not verified, and is not sent to a server. The app contains no paid content, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or payment flows. It does not provide social or user-generated content features requiring reporting or blocking. Where applicable, the app requests Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, location, camera, or photo/video permissions required for instrument connectivity and field data collection. These permissions are used only to support the app’s functionality. Without physical hardware, the app can still be launched and navigated. Users can access Settings, the Cal Stations and Instruments tabs, and Generate Cal Report. These areas display empty states until compatible hardware is connected. Add Instrument starts a Bluetooth scan, while Add Station starts a Wi-Fi scan for SmartCal stations. No sample files or sample hardware data are bundled with the app.
