Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ads: Roast Party at none against Nextbots Online's shown. Roast Party also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (100% vs 75%). Nextbots Online's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (775 vs 9). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roast Party sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Nextbots Online sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Nextbots Online holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nextbots Online has 775 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Roast Party's written reviews are positive against 75% of Nextbots Online's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Roast Party ships an update every 4 days, Nextbots Online monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
