Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: WWCC at 5.0 against Buffalo Sabres's 4.5. WWCC also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Buffalo Sabres's advantage is ratings volume (110 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WWCC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Buffalo Sabres has 110 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Buffalo Sabres ships an update every 4 months, WWCC every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
