Keep track of the little changes in your child's smile. Baby's Teeth helps you record when each of the 20 baby teeth came in and fell out, along with your child's age on that day. TAP A TOOTH, SAVE A DATE Use the upper and lower tooth chart to find the right tooth. Add an eruption or shedding date, fill in a missing date later, or edit and clear an entry. The chart reflects the records you have saved. A PROFILE FOR EACH CHILD Add each child's name and birthday, then switch between their separate records. See dates alongside ages without calculating them yourself. EVERYDAY RECORDING WORKS OFFLINE No account is needed. Child profiles and tooth records stay on your current device, and adding, viewing and editing records works offline. Use the app on iPhone or iPad, with light and dark appearances that follow your system settings. GENERAL AGE REFERENCES View typical eruption and shedding ages for each tooth and read reference material within the app. These references are general information, not an assessment of your child's development or medical advice. OPTIONAL PRO PURCHASE Remove all ads with a one-time Pro purchase, with no automatic renewal. The number of child profiles and all recording features remain available regardless of Pro status. Previously acquired ad-removal access is preserved. This version tracks baby teeth only. Photos, permanent teeth, cloud sync and data export are not included. There is no in-app backup or restore, so please keep the app's data on your device.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Child Growth Tracker at 4.9 against Baby's Teeth's 4.3. Child Growth Tracker also leads on ratings volume (216 vs 6). Baby's Teeth's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 48%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Child Growth Tracker sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Baby's Teeth sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Child Growth Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Child Growth Tracker has 216 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Child Growth Tracker's written reviews are positive against 75% of Baby's Teeth's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Child Growth Tracker ships an update every 2 months, Baby's Teeth every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
