About

NaviGate

NaviGate is the situational awareness companion built for professional pilots β€” designed to keep you ahead of the weather and the airspace, from preflight to top of descent. SMART SCAN β€” OCR FLIGHT PLAN INPUT Point your camera at your ATC flight plan and NaviGate reads it instantly. Compatible with LIDO format. Route, levels, timings and alternate are extracted automatically β€” no typing required. FLIGHT HUD β€” LIVE DELAY & TAKE-OFF TIME A persistent banner shows callsign, registration, gate, flight time and initial FL. Your departure delay appears live, and TO TIME follows the estimated, then actual take-off on its own. Set it by hand and your time always wins. Hazard alerts for destination and alternate are one tap away. VERTICAL PROFILE Your whole route in cross-section: terrain and MORA, WAFS turbulence, icing, CB tops and active SIGMETs at their real flight levels. Headwind and tailwind (H / T) are shown along the route, with your average en-route wind. A nautical-mile scale, waypoint passing times and a simulated aircraft complete the picture β€” scrub the timeline to see how the weather evolves. RAIN RADAR β€” SEVEN NATIONAL NETWORKS High-resolution precipitation radar from Europe, the United States, Australia, Japan, China, Taiwan and South Korea on one synchronized timeline, with a freshness alert per source. RUNWAYS & APPROACHES Every airport marker shows its runway layout, true to orientation. The airport sheet lists runways with wind components and the published approaches for each one: ILS category, RNP, LOC, VOR, NDB. NEAREST AIRPORTS (NRST) In flight, the NRST button lists airports around your estimated position, sorted by distance, with current weather, TAF hazards and best approach. Radius and minimum runway are set in Settings. SMART ALTERNATE FINDER Alternate looking marginal? Scan airports near your destination, filtered by radius and runway length. Live TAFs rank candidates as Suitable or Caution, with each airport's best approach. Candidates are pre-cached so the finder works offline. HAZARD DETECTION Destination and alternate TAFs are analyzed around your ETA: low clouds, poor visibility, strong winds, thunderstorms and heavy precipitation are flagged. Thresholds are fully configurable. SIGMETS, LIGHTNING & WAFS Active SIGMETs color-coded by hazard and kept visible on top of the radar β€” tap any zone for the full text, or scan your own. Live worldwide lightning. WAFS turbulence, icing and CB tops at several levels, up to 36 hours ahead. WX ENROUTE VFR / MVFR / IFR / LIFR on every airport along your route corridor, with the TAF trend shown as a colored ring. AIRPORT INFORMATION METAR, TAF, live D-ATIS from ACARS, NOTAMs with category filters, runway data and sunrise / sunset β€” all in one place, kept for offline use. TOOLBOX Equal Time Point with wind, distance ruler, time calculator, unit converter and crosswind calculator. OFFLINE & FLIGHT RECALL Radar, WAFS, CB tops, weather and D-ATIS are pre-fetched when your route is loaded. Lose connectivity mid-flight? Tap Recall to restore your full briefing. NaviGate is a supplementary situational awareness tool. It does not replace official ATC clearances, certified EFB systems, or regulatory briefing requirements. Positions are estimated, not GPS.
