BandHQ

BandHQ is the digital bandroom — one place for everything your band currently runs on group chats, spreadsheets and the notice board. WHO IS COMING Members reply Going, Maybe or Can't to every rehearsal and engagement. The committee sees the answers in one list instead of chasing them. SECTION COVERAGE AT A GLANCE The bit a musical director actually needs: how each section is covered against its established strength. Solo Cornet three of four. Eb Bass empty. You know before the night, not on the night. DEP REQUESTS Flag the chairs you need covering. Members claim the ones they can play. PRACTICE Log what you have practised, set a weekly goal, keep a streak going. Musical directors can set targets and see readiness across the band, with young players' detail kept private. BANDROOM CHAT AND NEWS Channels for the whole band, announcements with photos, and comments — so the important things stop getting lost between three different group chats. BUILT FOR BANDS WITH YOUNG PLAYERS Age is captured at sign-up. Under-18s get stricter privacy by default, a parent or guardian can be invited to their own view, and one-to-one messages between an adult and a young person are blocked outright — not as a setting a band can switch off. Messages and images are checked automatically, and anyone can report a message or a member. FREE BandHQ is free for your band, with everything above included. Brass bands first. The section names, the parts and the language are the ones your band already uses.
