Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Coinlytics at 46% against Cryptoverview's 0%. Coinlytics also leads on ratings volume (71 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15 vs 17.0). Cryptoverview's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Coinlytics sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Cryptoverview sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Cryptoverview holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coinlytics has 71 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Coinlytics's written reviews are positive against 0% of Cryptoverview's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Coinlytics ships an update every 2 weeks, Cryptoverview every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
