Excess Baggage

You have one suitcase, two thousand dollars, and a a bunch of customs officials waiting to take your contraband items. You have thirty days to make as much money as you can. Ready, Set, Go. EXCESS BAGGAGE is a buy-low, sell-high game played out of a carry-on. Fly between New York, Los Angeles, London, Dubai, Tokyo, and Sydney. Every city sells something cheap and overpays for something else. Fill the bag, get on the plane, and sell it where it's worth more. Flights take one or two days, prices drift while you're in the air, and the uncle charges interest every single day. Some of what you carry is legit. Sneakers, trading cards, vintage denim, graphics cards. Some of it is contraband. Fireworks are illegal in a suitcase, everywhere. Knockoff sneakers are illegal everywhere. Grey-market watches are worth a fortune in Tokyo and a headache in Dubai. Contraband pays better. Customs might stop you. The odds are on the screen. Declare and pay duty, or say nothing to declare and roll. Get caught, and there is always the officer’s pocket. THE BOARD Everything is a split-flap airport departures board. Every price flips when it changes. It sounds like an airport because it is one. THE CREW Five friends text you tips between flights. Darryl knows prices. Marisol knows drops. Tom knows customs. Dev knows flights. Tariq reads the news. They are usually right. Usually. THE UNCLE He fronted the money. He's family. He charges 5% a day anyway. Pay him back in person, in cash, in New York or London. He doesn't do transfers. THE SEALED CASE Once a run, a stranger at the gate offers you cash to carry a sealed case to another city. Don't open it. Or do. RUNS Short Haul is 30 days. Long Haul is 45. Around the World is 60. Every run gets a seed like 45-0919-K7. Send it to a friend and they play the exact same market, same prices, same events, so the only difference is who read the board better. Global leaderboards through Game Center for every run length. THE STORE The free game is the whole game. If you want more, everything is a one-time purchase. No subscriptions, no ads, no energy timers. Four more cities. Five bundles of three new goods. A bigger bag. A bank account in the Cayman Islands that pays more, if you can spare the flight. No accounts. No analytics. No advertising. Nothing leaves your phone except your score. Rated for everyone who has ever tried to get a snow globe through security.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Excess Baggage at none against Room Rage's shown. Excess Baggage also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 9 months). Room Rage's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
