Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: ShadowShare at 4.7 against Security VPM Master's 3.2. ShadowShare also leads on ratings volume (367 vs 17). Security VPM Master's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (79% vs 60%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Security VPM Master sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and ShadowShare sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
ShadowShare holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShadowShare has 367 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Security VPM Master's written reviews are positive against 60% of ShadowShare's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Security VPM Master ships an update monthly, ShadowShare every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
