AR Lopte is an Augmented Reality racing game. The player competes against the device with handballs instead of car toys. Each handball has a unique color and number. Four handballs are involved in the game. One handball is controlled by the player. Other handballs are controlled by the device. The player chooses the racing track and after that chooses one handball. Player can set a number of laps in the game. When everything is set, the player starts the game with a tap on the Start Game button. There are 10 racing tracks and 2 modes to play the game - Rookie mode and Default mode. In Rookie mode, travel-sign arrows show the direction - Tap the travel sign to apply that direction. In Default mode, the device is the steering wheel. The Device applies a measured angle to the handball - Tap anywhere on the screen to apply the force to the handball. For both play modes, Force can be between 1N and 10N (Newtons). If a player applies more successive taps, a bigger force will be applied and the ball’s speed will be bigger.

Swipe once and your hero dashes until it hits a wall. That single move is all it takes to play Dash Heroes, a pixel maze escape built for one thumb. Grab the key, reach the portal and get past every skull, spike and trap in the tower. The catch is that your hero does not stop halfway. Every swipe is a commitment: the dash keeps going until something gets in the way, so you read the maze before you move, not after. Speed along the arrows and time your run past turrets, flames, spears and patrolling skulls. In some stages you guide two heroes at once and swap between them to reach the exit. FOUR WAYS TO PLAY • Classic: hand-built stages across three towers of brick, ice and stone. Grab the key, open the portal and collect the gold to earn up to three stars on every stage. • Arcade: an endless climb through a maze that never runs out, with the water rising behind you. Your five best runs are saved, with the hero who set them and the day you did it. • Blitz: generated stages, one after another, with the water on your heels. • Race: 32 heroes race up the same tower. Get through two qualifying rounds and win the final. A MAZE ESCAPE THAT FIGHTS BACK • A key, a portal and gold in every stage, and traps that shoot, burn and patrol in between. • In Arcade the maze gets tighter the higher you climb, and the water does not wait for you to think. • Fast to read, easy to misjudge. It is a reflex game as much as a labyrinth. 60 HEROES, 10 POWERS • Collect 60 heroes, from common to mythic, and unlock them in the Hero Machine with the gold you pick up in the towers. • Every hero brings a power: more gold from every coin, a magnet that pulls coins in, a chance to start with a shield, slower rising water, a higher Arcade score and more. • Level your heroes up to make their powers stronger. • Take a team of two on every run. Both powers count, so the pair you choose changes the way you play. SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY • Nine daily missions, plus a bonus for finishing them all. • A daily reward that keeps growing as long as your streak lasts. • Arcade boosts to pick before a run: shield, slow water, magnet or double score. • 50 achievements, from your first stage to the very long haul, and a sheet with all your stats. ONE THUMB, NO INTERNET • Swipe controls made for one hand, in portrait. • No internet connection needed, so the maze comes with you anywhere. • Keyboard and gamepad work too. • Separate music and sound volume, and screen shake you can switch off. If you like a pixel maze game where one wrong swipe sends you straight into a spike, this is your kind of maze escape. Pick two heroes, swipe and see how high the water lets you get.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: AR Lopte at none against Dash Heroes's shown. AR Lopte also leads on update cadence (every 18 months vs every 39 months). Dash Heroes's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
