About

MECHA BURST

Features

Shoot. Slash. Level up. A portrait mech shooter where you fly a humanoid combat mech. Earn funds, upgrade your mech with pod cards, and fight your own way to Ace of the Federation. The Earth campaign is free. No ads. Plays offline. ■ WIN, UPGRADE, REPEAT Every enemy you down earns funds. Each time the funds gauge fills, pick one of three upgrade cards and raise a pod type a level (Lv1 to Lv4). In battle, downed enemies drop pods. Pick one up and it fights at your side for the rest of that battle, as strong as the level you've built. The pod you just upgraded always drops from your first kill of the next battle. Your mech levels up as it sorties, too. Armor, reaction, rate of fire and power grow at random, so no two units of the same type grow alike. Spend funds on new mechs and switch rides whenever you like. ■ PODS CHANGE HOW YOU FIGHT Homing missiles, prism lasers that fan out and converge on one target, funnels that surround and snipe, Tesla arcs that call down lightning, spinning blades, a mace on a chain, a flame pod, lasers, machine guns, and an Aegis that soaks up fire: ten pod types to mix. Build for a wall of fire, for one-shot kills, or for survival. Rank up to carry more pods at once (2 to 8), and stock pods with funds to launch them when a tough enemy shows up. ■ MECH ACTION YOU FEEL IN YOUR HANDS Fly with the left stick and fire with the right pad. Close in and cut with the beam saber. Press the stick deep for a booster dash: your armor glows white-hot and shrugs off shots for an instant. Hit sparks, hit-stop on kills, screen kick, purple smoke. Every shot, cut and dodge lands. ■ LEAD YOUR WING Sortie with wingmen at your side. Rise from cadet to admiral and you lead more of them; at the top ranks you can send the wing out on its own. They level up sortie after sortie, too. ■ FROM ORBIT TO THE GROUND Orbit, fortress, open ground, city and asteroid belt, under clear skies, clouds, rain and night, where tracers and explosions light up the dark. Choose your course card by card on the front map and push from Earth to Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and the Sun across five campaigns. ■ NAMED ENEMIES 22 named enemies in gold each telegraph a signature move. Read it, survive it, and bring them down for a huge payout. ■ FROM ITS ORIGINAL CREATOR A full rebuild of Uchū Bōeigun, a 2012 Japanese feature-phone game, by the developer who made it. • The Earth campaign is free. The four campaigns from Mars to the Sun unlock with one in-app purchase, "Full Version" (one-time). • No ads. No account needed. • Plays offline, with autosave for short sessions. • Languages: English, Japanese, German, French, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese. • For iPhone and iPad.
