About

Ayos

This app helps declutter your camera roll by identifying and organizing photos that are likely not memories, such as receipts, screenshots, and blurry images. It allows you to review and delete these items safely, with options to recover them before permanent deletion.

Highlights
  • Identifies non-memory photos (receipts, screenshots)
  • Finds near-identical and similar shots
  • Detects blurry photos and large videos
  • Converts Live Photos to stills
  • Review bin with 7-day recovery period
  • On-device processing for privacy

Your camera roll has a junk drawer. Ayos finds the photos that were useful at the time but probably aren't memories: the receipt for an expense report, the parking-garage pillar, the Wi-Fi password on a whiteboard, the serial number on the back of the router, the screenshot of a confirmation page, the shelf you photographed to remember what to buy. They sit next to the real memories forever, filling storage and cluttering every scroll. Ayos puts them in a pile called Possible Not a Memory, tells you why each one was flagged, and lets you clear them out in one pass. It also does what every cleaner does: near-identical copies with the best one kept, similar shots with the best one picked, screenshots and screen recordings, blurry photos, large videos, selfies, and Live Photos converted to stills to free the hidden video. Nothing is deleted without you. You pick, everything goes into a Review bin, then waits 7 days in Ayos where a tap takes any back (or goes at once, if you say so). Then Photos asks you once more, and they stay in Photos' Recently Deleted for 30 days. Everything happens on your iPhone. No account, no server, no analytics. Your photos never leave your device. Free: scan your whole library, review every pile, delete your first 100 and convert your first 5 Live Photos. Pro: one purchase for unlimited deletes and conversions, on iPhone and Mac. No subscription.

AlarmBud's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (20 vs 1). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.
